East Side Nursery School (ESNS) is a parent-cooperative preschool located in Providence, Rhode Island. ESNS draws families from the greater Providence area who seek a play-oriented program that incorporates parental involvement in early childhood education.
At East Side Nursery School, we set the stage for continuous growth and learning by offering an environment that is rich in varied activities and that stimulates children at their individual levels of development. The program at ESNS supports all areas of development and helps children learn how to learn—not just at ESNS, but also for the rest of their lives.
Our parent cooperative preschool offers families a gentle transition from home to the primary school environment. The parents of children at East Side Nursery School spend time in the classroom with their children, thus allowing them to get to know their children’s teachers and classmates, and to share in their children’s early formal education.
